On May 13th, 2026, the Hellenic Mediterranean University proudly hosted the Greek National Skills Competition, an event dedicated to fostering innovation, technical excellence, and the development of Digital Twin competencies within the framework of the project.
A total of seven teams participated in the competition, demonstrating remarkable enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment throughout the challenging assessment process. Participants were invited to tackle a variety of tasks covering key aspects of the project’s curriculum, applying their knowledge and critical thinking skills to address complex scenarios inspired by real industrial environments.
The competition highlighted not only the technical capabilities of the participants but also their ability to collaborate effectively, analyse problems from different perspectives, and propose innovative solutions. The high level of engagement and performance displayed by all teams reflected the growing importance of Digital Twin technologies and advanced manufacturing skills in today’s labour market.
Following a highly competitive evaluation process, the winning team was announced as ZeroTrace, consisting of Timoleon, Maria, Konstantina, and Vasilis. Their outstanding performance, creativity, and problem-solving approach distinguished them among a strong field of competitors.
We congratulate all participating teams for their dedication and achievements and look forward to seeing the national winners continue their journey at the upcoming International Skills Competition, where talented participants from across Europe will come together to exchange knowledge, showcase their expertise, and strengthen collaboration in the field of Digital Twin technologies.
