We are proud to announce that the Digital Twin project will be featured during the first Education Tech Café, organised by Siemens in Italy. The first issue of the event is set to explore the Digital Twin as a strategic lever for modernising technical teaching and bridging the gap between education and industry. At the heart of this event is our “Digital Twin on Smart Manufacturing” project – an initiative dedicated to transforming how industrial skills are taught across Europe.
A key highlight of the event will be the presentation of the project’s innovative open e-learning platform. Developed by a consortium of 11 European partners, this platform features over 100 hours of courses specifically focused on Siemens technology. This resource provides a unique opportunity to understand the growing relevance of digital twins in technical training and how they can be practically integrated into educational curricula.
Expert Insights and Practical Scenarios
The webinar features a comprehensive agenda designed to take participants from high-level strategy to hands-on application:
- Introduction & Perspectives: Siemens Italia’s Anna Bonandrini will open the session, followed by Franco Megali (VP Digital Industry Software) and Raffaella Menconi (Head of Education), who will discuss the evolving scenarios and future perspectives of digital twin technology.
- Platform Deep-Dive: Annalisa Rizzo (EU Project Manager) and Stefano Antona (Technical Manager) from Apro Formazione will present the e-learning platform, demonstrating its role in innovating and transforming technical instruction.
- From Concept to Practice: Fabio Ottolini, Consultant at ATS Italia, will share best practices and real-world usage scenarios, showing how these digital tools function in a professional industrial context.
