Politecnico di Torino (POLITO)

POLITO has been founded in 1859, the first Italian technical university. It has 34.721 students, 983 professors and 883 administrative staff. For more than 150 years it has been one of the most prestigious public institutions in Italy in the fields of education, research, technology transfer and services in all sectors of architecture and engineering. POLITO involves in the project its 3Dlab, a research group composed by professors, researchers, and PhD students with different engineering backgrounds. The common threads of 3DLab research activities are the acquisition, management, and visualization of 3D data.
